I love the grand. Its location is great. Staff were in the main were really helpful. Breakfast was great with lots of choice.
The room was too hot and there were no instructions for the ac. First complaint got a "it only goes down to 18 degrees) 2nd night we complained again and staff actually came to sort it.

This budget hotel had great views. We loved the convenience of the privilege double room, as well as all required facilities, a storage, and climate control. The location was magnificent for walking around a covered shopping centre. The property was in a very pleasant area, really close to buses and taxis and the local bars and restaurants.

I came to a conference- the catering was poor: no hot food and limited quantity for lunch

Historic ambiance, Unique commissioned street art, Comfortable leisure facilities
The parking situation is unclear and unfair!!! The cleanliness could be improved with better attention to maintenance details!!! Invest in soundproofing for rooms and reduce noise disturbances from the hallways!!!

Location was good, bar was relaxing although shut early
The room was a bit tatty and in need of some TLC. One of the lifts was out of order for the 3 days I was there. Parking was an interesting experience.

The hotel is definitely recommended to all. Appealing place all in all, has exceptional staff on the reception desk. The location is magnificent, 3 km from The Downs. It's set in a local area. The downstairs bar is good, appreciated this place.

Charming vintage decor and great atmosphere.
The initial room was tiny and poorly maintained. Fittings looked shabby.

The room was en suite, I had very comfortable experience.
The room was cramped so upgraded to king size which was better and available with a bath...

Breakfast was good. Manager on front desk dealt with an issue with the booking very well.
That the spa no longer exists on notable places of booking! Some mildly dubious artwork over the bed of 349!

The location was perfect and the service was faultless. Bathroom was clean. The inroom coffee/tea set was a nice touch.
The breakfast can be improved (Eggs were cold aswell as bacon being tough and tasteless). Breakfast area seating needs to be improved as outdoor seating is not quirky it's just uncomfortable.

Quiet hotel in a marvellous setting at city center. Huge rooms and exceptionally comfortable beds. High quality food for a continental breakfast.

The staff were all very polite, cheerful and helpful. The room rates and prices for food were fair.
For a 4 star hotel it was, overall, a little disappointing. The dining was limited - let's face it, Keepers is just a level above ordinary pub food. The rooms were nothing above ordinary. Parking was something of a mystery - no clear explanations.
